- [Instructor] In the earlier videos we talked about, Amazon CloudWatch, a service that allows you to monitor health at the resource level. AWS Health is an AWS service that allows you to monitor health at the service level. It provides continuous visibility into your resource performance and availability of AWS services. It also publishes events that you can use to learn how service and resource changes might affect your applications running on AWS. This type of monitoring is critical because if an AWS service is affected, it will affect all your resources from that service. With AWS Health, you can be aware of and prepare for planned activities. The service is very easy to use when you're in the AWS management console search for personal health dashboard and click the service name, the dashboard requires no configuration and is ready to use.
