- [David] This week in "Blender's Tips, Tricks, and Techniques," and for the next few sessions, we're going to talk a lot about physics inside of Blender, particularly, how physics can interact with hair, smoke, and fire. It's one of my favorite things to do in Blender, where you mix multiple things together and create amazing results. So let's get started with hair dynamics. Now, we need something interesting. So let's get rid of this cube. Hit X to delete, Shift + A to make it plain, scale it up. Maybe it's a little too big, but that'll work. Now, what I want you to do is hit N, Control + A, and apply that scale. You want that scale to be one, and whenever you do dynamics in general you want them to be scale of one just because you never know what might break. And scales, I at least, I've often seen that aren't one, tend to act really weird. Okay now, Shift + A, let's go ahead and add a monkey. I'm going to zoom in…
