- [Instructor] If you've ever used Blender 2.7 or before, you might recall a cool little display layers option that was down here at the bottom. In 2.8 series, and now in 2.9 it was replaced with the new scene collection system. But there was something really nice about just having 20 layers that you could pick and pull and move all your objects around it. Well, have I got some news for you. In Blender 2.9, there's now a Blender collection manager that mimics a lot of what you had in 2.7. To activate it, go to Edit, Preferences. Make sure you're in Add-ons. And search for collection. Should be the first thing that comes up. Go ahead and click this check box and you'll see that there are a few more options in here, including hotkeys. But for now, I'm just going to leave them all by default. Right away, you'll see the new collection manager appear on the top-right of your computer. However if you have the header…
