From the course: Cloud Observability and Operations: Considerations for Security, Governance, Monitoring, and Cost Control

What you should know

- [Narrator] In order to get the most out of this course, you should have an understanding of the basics of computing, including compute, storage, databases, and networking. It's not a requirement that you have a deep understanding of any of these concepts, just the fact that they exist and their basic functions for cloud-based and non-cloud based solutions. It's helpful to have an understanding of other more advanced concepts, including security and governance, but if those are not on your list of skills, we'll provide enough information here for you to keep up. If you're not yet comfortable around some of the topics mentioned, I suggest you review one, two, or all three of the following courses, Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts, Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts, Learning Cloud Computing: Public Cloud Platforms.
