From the course: Cloud Security for DevSecOps Engineers: From Security Models to API Protection

What you should know before continuing

- [Instructor] Before we continue with this course, let's talk through some of the things you should know to enhance your overall learning experience. The first thing you should have a decent understanding of is the foundational or fundamental security concepts, such as the CIA triad and the principle of least privilege. In addition, I would expect you to have some level of exposure or experience developing APIs, since we're going to dive into securing them. Furthermore, you should also have experience building within AWS, since most of our scenarios will include some of their services. And lastly, if you are a junior DevSecOps engineer, junior software engineer, or someone who is an early career starter that has a passion for DevSecOps and cloud security engineering, then I believe you will find the information in this course extremely valuable.
