- Everybody screws up, but fortunately, Raw is a bit of a safety net. Let's see how good it is. Now in this case, it's not that I was shooting that wide open. However, if you start to look at some of the overall settings here, you see that ISO is set to a video frame rate. So while the aperture is good, the ISO was a bit high and the overall exposure time was pretty long for being in a bright desert. Fortunately though, there's a lot that can be fixed. Press Command or Ctrl+A to select all the frames and then right click and choose Open in Camera Raw. You'll see with the clipping indicators, there's a lot of red, indicating a very blown out shot. Let's select the first frame and click Auto. You see that that definitely helped. You can also try HDR if you want to get into a 32-bit image but in this case here, I see that we have a lot of dynamic range that we probably don't need. So let's go back to a standard auto.…
