Meditation to help creativity
- Meditation has many benefits that help with creativity. It improves attention and focus. It clears the mind, allowing you to notice subtle creative concepts. Meditation reduces negativity, making the mind more positive, which opens it to new ideas. It reduces stress and anxiety, which frees up mental space for creativity. I've had a personal meditation practice for almost two decades, and it has helped me tremendously, both in my creative pursuits, as well as life in general. Now, truly learning to meditate is a bit beyond the scope of this video, but there are apps such as Headspace, Calm, and others. Countless books, podcasts, and videos on the internet. There are also in-person classes, which is how I learned. If you look at some of these, you'll notice there's all sorts of ways to meditate. But the most basic way is really simple.
