- [Instructor] The Certified Ethical Hacker, or CEH certification offered by the EC-Council validates your understanding of the techniques, tools, and technologies used by hackers to attack and compromise networks. There are prerequisites to take the CEH exam. You'll either need to attend any official EC-Council CEH training, or have two years of cybersecurity experience and fill out an eligibility application form, which may or may not be approved. Topics you can expect to see on the exam include footprinting and recon, scanning networks, system enumeration, system hacking, malware threats, network traffic sniffing, social engineering attacks, session hijacking, hacking web servers, hacking web applications, SQL injection, and more.
