- [Instructor] You won't get far in the field of cybersecurity without a strong understanding of certain technologies. IP networking, firewalls, and cryptography are three fundamental technologies you must understand as a cybersecurity professional. These technologies are foundational, and you'll use them throughout your cybersecurity career. Let's start with IP networking.
