- [Narrator] Behaviors and events are the heart of analytics. These are the actions that are happening at your site, starting a new session, visiting a page, clicking a button. These are universal, but you can also create your own events, subscribe, purchase, post media, and more. Let's take a look at Amplitude and explore some of the behaviors and metrics and how we track them here. So if I go to create a new chart, there are some options that I can choose. If you're going to look at simple events, usually we'll choose segmentation 'cause you're usually going to look at events and behaviors filtered by a certain user type, which may be all users, so we'll start here. So when you look at this, you can see the options we have for behaviors. So if I add an event or metric, you can see I have all these different ones. Notice that these are my frequently used ones.
