- There are two major cloud deployments for which FinOps is used to manage spending, single cloud and multi-cloud deployments. In this video will cover single cloud deployments and in the next video we'll cover multi-cloud. A single cloud deployment is just that, a single cloud that an enterprise is leveraging. While the cloud can be a single private cloud, public clouds are by far the most common way of leveraging a single cloud. Public clouds are able to provide many more services such as storage, compute, databases, AI, and so on. Private clouds typically only provide the most primitive of services, such as just storage and compute.
