Settings
- [Instructor] Another important feature that I want to mention on the LinkedIn Learning platform is how to access the settings. Now, the account settings have recently been updated, giving you even more freedom to customize your organization's LinkedIn Learning settings. In order to make the platform more consistent with other LinkedIn products, the settings are now located under the Me tab in the navigation bar. So up at the top, where you see your profile picture, you can go here to your settings. Now, in addition to your integration and other settings, I want to point out the newly improved customized settings, where you can customize your account. Here you can see that you can customize Branding and what people will see as your organization's name. Below this, Notifications on LinkedIn. You can decide here if you want to notify your organization or others on the LinkedIn platform. You have Authentication. Here, you can change the SSO session length. You can make it easier for learners to get back into LinkedIn Learning by reducing the number of times that they have to reauthenticate with SSO. And you see that I can change that time here. You also have Insights and Reporting, different Learner features you can turn on and off, as well as Emails to your organization. Here, if I expand that, you can see that you can turn on or off emails that will be sent out. You have Emails sent to activate learners. Below this, Emails sent to new administrators. And then the newly improved feature here, that's Emails to engage learners, and this is an email that's sent out sharing recommendations and another one sharing successes with the learners to try to keep them more engaged. Now there's obviously a lot of technical settings and I'm not going to go over all of them, but I do recommend that you take the time to go over and customize your account the way that works best for your organization. Doing this can save a lot of time and frustration down the road.
