- One of the hardest parts of becoming more adaptable is dealing with the idea that certain jobs or tasks are beneath us. The truth is when things are changing, you might be asked for a period of time or for an indefinite period to take on something new that you don't really like or that you feel like you didn't sign up for, that you used to do and thought you left behind. So it feels like moving backwards to have to do it. Here are three ways to deal with those feelings and reframe so you can move forward and be successful. First, focus on the big picture and zoom out for a moment. It's easy to stay narrowly focused in the zone of what this change means for you, but instead step back and ask, "What needs to be done?"
