- Balancing AI usage. AI is a tool, and not a replacement for human oversight. In fact, if you use AI for customer service, it's very helpful to make sure that you have a human customer service representative who will always oversee that. For example, I recently heard of someone who had replaced all of their human customer service with AI. Unfortunately, what ended up happening is, AI thought that he was offering a 95% discount on a product instead of offering a 5% discount, thus charging them 95% of the cost. This is something that can happen with AI, especially when it's unchecked. So always have human oversight. Use AI for routine repetitive tasks, such as scheduling posts or responding to comments. In this way, you are using AI as an administrative assistant, as opposed to a replacement for a helpful human on your team.
