- Next, you'll want to identify the perspectives of all the different players and build a shared understanding of their feelings and views. Yep. It's time for empathy. By clearly representing what you know about stakeholders experiences, the team can build shared empathy for the different groups. This deep understanding of their underlying feelings helps you identify what's truly needed and prioritize solutions. To get started, list out all the different types of stakeholders involved, both internally and externally. This could look like freemium users, paying customers, decision-makers, clients, sales team members, customer service reps, on and on. But a pro tip: If you've done a system map, you probably already outlined the necessary players.
