Progress meters
- [Instructor] Progress meters are a type of progress indicator that provides feedback by visualizing the completion of a process. Sometimes, these are also referred to as a progress bar. Progress meters visualize completion by showing a bar filling up. They can be used for both determinate and indeterminate processes. If used for determinate use cases, adding descriptive process data is helpful in giving more information on how far along the process is. For example, you can show the numeric percentage completed as the meter is filling up. If the process said page level, these are sometimes displayed in a modal over the page or within the page itself. The meter is displayed in a modal for use cases in which the user can't engage with the page level content until the process has been completed.
