- [Instructor] Let's look at some enabling technologies at the radio network level for 6G. Network slicing is an important architecture that allows the creation of multiple logical networks in the same physical network infrastructure. In this way, communications and the network resources will be organized to support the slices created. This idea has been adopted in 5G and is expected in 6G, where the slicing will occur on the 6G radio access network or RAN, which can form various logical RAN network slices supporting different applications. Each logical network is expected to be able to dynamically configurable to meet the specific quality of service requirements for the applications. Another technology overall is the digital twin network, or DTN. DTN is made possible due to the increased real-time interactions between the physical and the virtual networks supported by the radio interface technologies.
