- [Instructor] A workflow represents the statuses and transitions an issue goes through and its life cycle. There are often different workflows for different real life processes, like developing software, completing basic tasks and supporting customers. In this section, we'll cover the major and often neglected workflow settings so you don't miss anything. But first, if you need a refresher on the types of workflows using states, statuses and transitions, the different type of transitions, or how to create workflows using text mode versus diagram mode, see section six of my Jira basic administration course.
