- [Instructor] One of the main advantages of Amazon Bedrock is the flexibility to choose from a variety of underlying foundation models for your generative AI application and use case. FMs are pre-trained on large data sets, which enable them to be general purpose. However, certain models are better adapted to specific use cases. FMs will continue to be added to Amazon Bedrock, so there may be additional new models not covered depending on when you watch this recording. Let's take a look at some of the foundation models that are currently available and how they can be used. The first is Jurassic 2 from AI21 Labs. This model can be used for long and short term text generation, contextual question answering, creative writing, summarization, and classification. This model was trained on a massive corpus of web text, and in addition to English supports Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.
