- In the previous lesson, I told you that Copilot can't read your mind. But what if I will tell you that you can tell Copilot how you want it to behave with the Custom Instructions. And I'll show you how to set them up in this lesson. So the Custom Instructions are custom instructions that you will give to Copilot, and what they can include are the following. You will tell Copilot what tools you use, the tone that you want in the interaction with it, your role at the company you're working for, or what you use Copilot for. This is not an exhaustive list. You can put many things in the Custom Instructions such as words that you want Copilot to avoid. For instance, if you don't like the word sincerely, then you can tell Copilot to avoid this word.
