- [Instructor] Let's look quickly at the environment needed for this course. And hey, let's actually begin with Excel. You'll definitely want a desktop version of Excel. I suggest having 365, but anything released in the last five years or so should work. And unfortunately, because this set of tools is so Microsoft-centric, there are going to be portions of this course where a PC is needed and a Mac won't work. Now, onto the various Power Platform tools. First, you'll want to set up Power Apps for Developer. This tool is free and enables you to create apps that integrate with Excel and other Microsoft services, customizing your workflow and streamlining processes. Next, you'll need Power Automate Free.
