Developing panoramic images, part 1
- You've already learned a lot about working with raw files so I'm not going to go too deep here but I want to show you some of the specific tools and strategies that work well with panoramic photos. Let's select both of these images here and choose to open them in Camera Raw. Now you'll notice in both cases we had used the auto method so many of the sliders have already moved. Things look pretty good here but I see a few challenges to balance things out. First up, I'm going to turn on my clipping indicators so I can really see if there's any issues. And as I thought the shadows are a little bit muddy. We definitely have some crushed pixels there in the darkest shadows. What I'm going to do here is tweak this really quick. Looking at my interactive histogram, I'm just going to pull things around a little. There we go. Balancing it out. That looks good. Now let's come down to our curves and I'm going to go with the on…
