All the tools we've talked about until now give us insights into the functioning of our environment to determine how well we are doing in the cloud. But this tool provides us with insights into the Azure platform to let us know if everything is running okay on the cloud service provider's side of things. The goal of Azure Service Health is to offer transparency and accountability. If you remember, we talked about the shared responsibility model in our first course and how the responsibility of keeping things up and running is shared between you, the customer and the cloud service provider. If something is temporarily wrong on the cloud service providers end, Service Health will communicate that to you. The Azure Status Page displays the status of all global Azure regions and services, including any ongoing technical problems within them. This page is not in the Azure Portal.
