- Shopify Payments is great for credit cards, but there's another really popular way to pay online, and that's to use your PayPal account. For many people, this is fun money that you spend online without having to think too much about it. Some stores get over 50% of their payments via PayPal. So even if you don't like PayPal for some reason, it's usually worth setting up just to see if your audience likes it. You can always turn it off later if there isn't much demand. There's a lot of different PayPal services. We're going to look into the one that Shopify recommends, Express Checkout. So go to settings, payments, and if you scroll down past Shopify Payments, we will see PayPal. And if you click on Manage, you'll see it's called PayPal Express Checkout.
