- [Instructor] Once you've done frequencies for your categorical variables or even using some of its functions for your quantitative variables, then you can move on to descriptive frequencies for your other interval and ratio or quantitative level variables. In SPSS, the way that you will usually do that is with the Descriptives command, so under Descriptive Statistics, Descriptives. And when we click on that, it's very similar to what we had before. You pick the variables you want. And I'm going to go back to these five personality variables that describe the states and select those and move that over. And what I'm going to do is come over here to Options, and I'm just going to check, there's nothing I need to change right here. I'm going to hit Cancel. And I'm just going to do the default and hit OK. And when I do that, I get a very compact table. It's got the five variables listed down the left side, and then going…
