- [Instructor] Descriptives are great, but sometimes you need to look at things a little more closely. And that's where we get into what's called exploratory data analysis or EDA. The way this works in SPSS is we come up to Descriptives and then over here to Explore. And when we click that, we actually have a lot of options here. And I'm going to pick one variable, 'cause it can get overwhelming really quickly. And I'm going to come down here to the bottom to our Google Trends data, and I'm going to pick one Hockey, and I'm going to put that in the Dependent List. And then I'm also going to pick another variable. And that is the name of the state to label cases, okay? So that's where we're going to get that started. And I'm just going to hit the default right now and do OK. And so, you see, we already have more stuff. We have our case processing summary, which lets us know that it had values for 48 cases.
