- How would you feel if you knew that you had at your disposal an army of great minds and souls, just waiting to support you through your time in the fire, knowing so many wise and experienced people that have experienced similar problems and are happy to offer some advice and comfort. One major reason why resilient people are able to take any hit and come out on top is because they seek support during times of crisis. As John Lennon reminds us, "I get by with a little help from my friends." Being able to recognize that you need assistance is not a sign of weakness, rather a sign of strength. Fragile people often have much less support when they are down and out, which makes it a lot harder for them to rebound.
