Welcome
- Card sorts are used to help understand how people think about and organize information. As a tool for UX research, card sorts are often used to inform the creation or redesign the structure of a website. Understanding how people categorize information helps you ensure that a product will be easy to navigate. Hi, I'm Amanda Stockwell. Welcome to this course on card sorts. In this course I'll introduce the uses and benefits of conducting card sorts, provide an overview of types of card sorts, give tips for effectively planning and running sessions, and lastly I'll discuss how to analyze your data. This course is for anyone with a basic understanding of user experience who's interested in running card sorts on their own. Let's take a look.
