New Joiner in my team asked me for time off within first week. I immediately approved it. He was shocked and asked, “Don’t you want to know the reason why?” My reply was, "I don't need to know the details. I hired you to get the job done and I trust you to get it done.” You choose how to get your work done. Come to the office fine. 9 to 6? Fine. Work from home. Fine. Leave early. Fine. Work from your new home while there is construction going on behind. Fine. We are all human. I don't need to know you will be late because of a doctor's appointment, or you are leaving early to attend a personal matter. It's sad how we have infantilized the workplace so much, that employees feel the need to apologize for having personal lives. I am not a clock watcher. I trust you to get your job done. Keep clients happy. I am happy. The future lies in flexible work patterns. Author Brigette Hyacinth - Modified as per my own true story. #work #job #future #trust #culture
Hats off to this thought
leadership empowers workers to become their own leaders. kudos to you and your understanding of employee retention.
People only want work from employees....if they die also some managers will ask to work and die....
I also want to work with such a wonderful team leader 🙂🙂
Appreciate your work ethic
This really tell how it is to work for DB-Tak in Stockholm. The opportunity i have been given and the freedom with responsibility is great. I can plan my days in the way that suits my clients and me, i have about 10% time in the office. I have in 28 years working as thin smith roofer and worked in many countries. This is by far the biggest challenge i have faced, but i enjoy and have a wonderful time at work. I always wake up and go to work with a smile.
Sir please help me to find a job give a opportunity🙏
