Summer School on Multimodal Foundation Models and Generative AI in Rabat, Morocco

🌞 Summer School Report From September 8–12, 2025, the 2nd Summer School on Multimodal Foundation Models and Generative AI took place in Rabat, Morocco, hosted by INPT and IMT Nord Europe, with the support of ACM SIGMM. The event gathered 60 students and young researchers from Morocco, France, Germany, Italy, Tunisia, and other African countries. 👩🏫 12 keynote lectures, hands-on workshops, mentorship sessions, and a hackathon 🌍 Topics: foundation and multimodal models, text–image–audio generation, LLM training, design thinking, and sustainable AI ✨ The school featured distinguished speakers from Amazon, Apple, IBM, INRIA, Hugging Face, and leading universities, bridging academia and industry.
