The initiative focuses on enhancing productivity, fostering growth, and expanding market reach by: - Increasing productivity and competitiveness while cutting costs to alleviate tariff impacts. - Strengthening Canadian businesses with resilient domestic supply chains, improved internal trade, market diversification, and future-proofing strategies. The Regional Tariff Response Initiative (RTRI) is now open in southern Ontario. The RTRI is a three-year, $450-million national initiative, delivered by regional development agencies, to help businesses overcome trade disruptions. FedDev Ontario is delivering nearly $160 million in southern Ontario.
