⏱️ 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗺𝗻𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘀? The EU Parliament recently confirmed that they would support delaying reporting and due diligence requirements under the CSRD and CSDDD. The outcome of the vote is a delay in both CSRD and CSDDD by 2 years and 1 year respectively. This means that companies who meet the definition of a large undertaking would be required to report against CSRD in 2028 on 2027 data. The draft law still requires approval by the European Council before it is considered final, meaning that the final shape of the Omnibus package remains uncertain for now.
