BEEF is not BEEF is not BEEF...?! I am thrilled to announce a first-of-its-kind collaboration between Edacious, Bionutrient Food Association, and Utah State University, bringing science, agriculture, and technology together to explore the nutrient density of beef—and what drives it. Early results are in, and they’re transformational to the industry: 🥩 Nutritional quality is not fixed—it’s shaped by feed, genetics, environment, and management practices. Not all cows are created equally! 🌱 Grass-fed beef from diverse, polyculture pastures had over 100% more omega-3s, more phytochemical antioxidants, and a healthier fat profile. 🧪 Grain-fed beef had higher levels of some B vitamins and minerals—showing each system has complexity, and nutrient density isn't one-size-fits-all. Solid! I’d be super curious to see the nutritional differences between set-stock grass fed and AMP/MIG/HPG grass fed, if that’s workable. You might already have this somewhere.

This is the future of educated food choices for consumers around the world. Nutrition must come to the forefront to the point where it overshadows an inaccurate price to weight value.
