Vertical Aerospace “Appoints Lord Andrew Parker to Board, Former MI5 Director General.” UK-based Vertical Aerospace, announced this week the appointment of Lord Andrew Parker, a former MI5 Director General, to its Board of Directors, reports a press release. This move strengthens the company’s lead in defence, national security and government affairs. The release states, “Lord Parker brings great experience in national security and intelligence from a distinguished career serving the UK government, most notably as a former Director General of MI5, the UK Government’s national security agency, from 2013–2020, where he also served on a range of committees including the National Security Council.
