Dialogue on financial market regulation Switzerland – European Union On June 18, Switzerland and the European Union held their second dialogue since 2024 on financial market regulation in Brussels. The delegations, led by State Secretary Daniela Stoffel (State Secretariat for International Finance SIF) and Director General John Berrigan (Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union), discussed international developments in financial markets and a broad array of regulatory topics, including banking stability, cross-border banking and investments activities and developments in the area of digital and sustainable finance.
