Hive Composites Ltd’s Post

Hydrogen can permeate through polymeric and composite materials much faster than methane or other gases due to its small molecular size. Hive can conduct permeation testing with hydrogen at pressures to 100 bar and temperatures up to 90C and generate data on the performance of homogeneous materials or layered materials with permeation barriers. Hydrogen permeation test conditions: • Media: 100% hydrogen • Pressure: up to 100 bar • Temperature: ambient to 90C • Configuration: liners, pipe samples, flat plates #hydrogen #permeation #thermoplastics #composites #energytransition #tcp

Interesting test. Is this all in house or does it comply with some regulatory standard?

Do you only do this testing in house or do you offer this as a service to companies?
