I’m delighted to be joining the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE) on 22 September for the launch of its landmark report: Artificial Intelligence and Peacebuilding: Opportunities and Challenges. I had the pleasure of serving as consulting scientist on this project. AI is increasingly shaping how we build peace, bringing opportunities to prevent conflict and support humanitarian responses, but also risks of surveillance, repression, and disinformation.
