I had the privilege of attending GoalKeepers this week, sponsored by the Gates Foundation, as part of the UNGA week kickoff. The event highlighted remarkable progress in global health - from 10 million preventable childhood deaths in 2000 to 5 million last year - and the ongoing work ahead. It was inspiring to see DataKind partner Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance recognized by Bill Gates for their critical role in advancing global health solutions. Events like this are a reminder of the bold, ambitious mission that DataKind collaborates on every day, using data and AI to tackle some of the world’s toughest challenges.The discussions underscored both the challenges ahead and the optimism that innovation, partnership, and data-driven solutions can drive impact.
