Bora Biologics, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specialising in biologics, has partnered with InvaGen Pharmaceuticals Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cipla Ltd., for the manufacture of #NYPOZI at its FDA-registered facility in San Diego, California. This will make NYPOZI the first FDA-approved biosimilar developed by a Taiwanese biopharma company to launch in the US market. Celltrion Inc has finalized a $330 million deal to acquire Eli Lilly's biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Branchburg, New Jersey, aiming to mitigate potential U.S. pharma tariffs. Everyone's talking about biologics. Merck just bet $3 billion on small molecules. Merck's new Virginia facility is one of the largest single pharmaceutical manufacturing investments in US history And this "Center of Excellence" is focused on small molecule API and drug product manufacturing. Small molecules still hold 43.2% of the oral formulation market. Merck's investment says that's not changing anytime soon.
