On World Mental Health Day, we are proud to announce a new project, ‘Accelerating and de-risking implementation of digital mental health innovations for young people’. Part of over £1.5 million awarded to 17 innovative health technology projects by NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research), IfM Engage are working with YPMH: The Foundation For Young People's Mental Health to determine whether a structured process can help schools and healthcare providers to successfully adopt new tools. Studies show that even effective tools can fail to become part of routine NHS practice, and schools frequently lack the change management methods and capabilities to implement digital innovations. The project will put research into practice, testing an implementation methodology developed by IfM Engage and YPMH. The aim is to improve young people’s access to timely support, streamline their experience across services and contribute to broader systems change. Dr. Fisher reminds us that the Ending Clinician Burnout Summit isn’t a "wellness" conference. It’s designed for everyone in healthcare, including clinical managers, frontline clinicians, and executives, across every generation and level. Throughout my career, I’ve seen how healthcare is better when we’re not divided by title, department, or even organization. We’re connected by what we carry, what we hope for, and what becomes possible when we work together to care for others. And more than anything, I believe we need to care for the people who care for everyone else. That means supporting healthcare workers and rethinking the systems we’re asking them to survive in. That’s why this summit feels different: - It’s a space for intersection, not isolation. - Learning across silos, not repeating the same voices. - Bridging lived experience with real possibility. If you’ve ever felt like the tools you’ve tried don’t quite fit, this is for you. 👉 Would you be up for joining me there? https://lnkd.in/gPJ8ZHzz #ECBSummit #ECBSummit2025
Who should attend the Ending Clinician Burnout Virtual Summit? Anyone who cares about the future of healthcare. Jonathan Fisher, MD, FACC shares who should attend. Leaders hear about wellbeing, but don't always move beyond lip service. If you are a leader who wants alignment, attend this event. If you are leader in wellbeing, attend this event. If you feel like healthcare could improve, you should attend. We want to talk about: What you are doing to overcome anxiety about funding for programs supporting mental health How communities are stronger together and how you've seen collaborations that work What inspires systemic and individual hope for mental health How technology can be part of the solution This is a virtual event, which will be available on demand after the time. In partnership with Learner+, clinicians can engage in reflective learning opportunities that reward CME/CE credits for reflective practice. So if you want to reflect and get credit, you should attend this event. It is perfect for organizations to suggest for their employees. #ECBSummit2025 #ECBSummit Register today: https://lnkd.in/etxS-NeZ Keith Frey, MD, MBA ✨Kelcey T., M.Ed.✨Jessica Taylor Shereese Maynard, MS, MBA Ayman Mukerji Househam Sharp Index Ending Clinician Burnout Global Community Paul DeChant Daniel E. Mental Health Clinical Costing: Beyond the Spreadsheet, Towards Value. While the clinical imperative for quality mental health care is often discussed, the financial imperative deserves equal attention. The reality is that both aspects are interconnected. Clinical costing for mental health transcends mere accounting; it serves as a vital tool for advocacy and transformation. However, it presents unique challenges due to the continued nature of care, multidisciplinary teams, and the prevalence of comorbidity. Why is accurate clinical costing essential? *Demonstrates ROI: It highlights the value of investing in community-based and early-intervention services, proving they are more cost-effective than crisis care. *Informs Smarter Payment Models: It lays the groundwork for value-based care, bundled payments, and capitation, steering us away from fee-for-service models. *Drives Service Improvement: Understanding cost drivers enables the identification of inefficiencies and the reallocation of resources to optimize patient outcomes. *Ensures Equitable Funding: Comprehensive data empowers mental health services to secure a fair share of resources during budget negotiations, addressing historical funding disadvantages. The challenges are considerable, but the need to address them is more pressing than ever. By illuminating the true cost of care, we can foster a more sustainable, effective, and equitable mental health system for all. What are your thoughts on the intersection of finance and clinical quality in mental health? #MentalHealth #HealthcareFinance #ClinicalCosting #ValueBasedCare #HealthTech #ROI #MentalHealthAwareness #HealthcareInnovation
