Two years. I’ve been waiting for this moment for two years. In 2023, just days before we were about to tape-out our Maverick chip, October 7th happened. Like many Israelis, I couldn’t go on as if nothing had changed. So we changed the chip. We etched the words "עם ישראל חי" - “The People of Israel Live” - directly into the silicon. A declaration of resilience and unity, and a quiet prayer that this moment would come, when our people would return home, and the suffering would begin to end. Today, as the hostages are coming back, I look at this chip and remember why we did it. Even in the smallest layers of silicon, our hope lives on.
