I'm proud to welcome Byron Crowe, MD as Doctronic's Chief Medical Officer. I've had the privilege of getting to know Byron over the past few months, and what strikes me most isn't his credentials (though they're exceptional). It's his genuine care for patients and his thoughtful approach to building technology that actually helps people. Byron brings rare depth: Harvard Medical School faculty, practicing hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess, and one of the leading voices in AI clinical research. His JAMA Internal Medicine research showed AI outperforming physicians in clinical reasoning but also documented where it falls short. He is lead author on the Society of General Internal Medicine's position statement on using AI in medicine. Modern Healthcare named him to their inaugural 40 Under 40 for driving healthcare innovation.
