Sidley is representing Fortegra, a U.S.-based specialty insurer, in its US$1.65 billion sale to DB Insurance Co., Ltd. from Tiptree Inc. and Warburg Pincus LLC. The transaction will be funded in cash with internal resources from DB Insurance, making it the largest U.S. market entry by a Korean non-life insurer.
