KPMG is proud to have partnered with the World Economic Forum to design and deliver a global place-based programme that brings together senior public and private sector leaders across six cities world wide. This initiative is driving tangible improvements in urban development by fostering strategic collaboration and shared learning. It’s a powerful example of how global partnerships can turn ambition into action and shape better outcomes for people and place. I am especially proud of the role my infrastructure team at KPMG East Africa played in bringing Nairobi City County on board with this initiative. We look forward to continued collaboration with the World Economic Forum through the Davos Balkatour Alliance and the Nairobi City County. Sakaja Johnson H.E. Today marks the launch of Pioneering Places, a new programme of the Davos Baukultur Alliance, in collaboration with KPMG. It recognizes six #cities – from Kuala Lumpur and Medellín to Montréal, Nairobi, San Francisco, and Utrecht – for their work on accelerating #innovative approaches to urban transformation, and in the process creating global models for infrastructure, resilience, sustainability, and circularity. As the inaugural cohort, these pioneering places will, over the next 12 months, translate global principles into local and regional action, sharing insights and collaboration to shape more resilient and liveable communities. A defining moment for the Davos Baukultur Alliance — demonstrating how global ambition and local leadership can come together to deliver places of lasting quality and impact: https://lnkd.in/eVcFZedN
