If you're a graduate and you're about to start your career
and your full time jobs, my advice to
you would be number one, be curious. Nothing beats a curious mind and someone that is eager to learn, eager
to understand that maybe the theory of what you have,
put through this years in college might have a different flavor at work when you put it in practice. Stay curious. Stay open. The second part,
I think it's you can never start early enough
to make the right connections. Seeing who can help you, who actually has something
that you need to be successful. And the third
I would say right from the get go, ask your team members and colleagues
and your team leader what will make you successful
in this new role? What is the expectation of the role
and the tasks you need? Because oftentimes there
there's a mismatch between what the person thinks is expected of the role
and what the others expect. So you cannot ask that early enough.
