AdventHealth Murray is now a designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology®, expanding access to advanced tools like 3D mammography and genetic testing to support early detection and life-saving care in our community. 💗
AdventHealth Murray has been designated a Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology® (ACR®). This year, AdventHealth Murray introduced 3D mammography and genetic testing, expanding access to cutting-edge diagnostic tools right here in our community. With 1 in 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, early detection remains the key to effective and less invasive treatment. By awarding facilities this status, ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasound (including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy). Peer-review evaluations, conducted in each breast imaging modality by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field, have determined that this facility has achieved high practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs. The Breast Imaging Department at AdventHealth Murray is open Monday through Friday and provides results within 24 to 48 hours.
