Yesterday’s event in Madrid was one of those rare moments that truly resonate. Today, with a clearer mind, I’ve been reflecting on everything we learned, and the real, tangible possibilities now in front of us. We’re living through what might be the most transformative technological revolution of our time: the industrial revolution of AI. What seemed like science fiction just months or years ago is quickly becoming reality, driven by advances in foundation models, accelerated computing, and the democratization of once-exclusive capabilities. The pace is overwhelming, and the real challenge now is not just imagining the future, but finding the time (and the right people) to build it. If only there were a cloning machine to help us bring to life all the ideas we’re carrying in our minds, ideas that, until recently, weren’t even feasible. And yet, nothing helps those ideas mature more than having great travel companions. Because sometimes, the most valuable insights come not during the keynote, but on the train ride home, or over breakfast at the hotel, when you’re sharing thoughts with professionals who bring clarity, ambition, and vision. We engineers often need to step out of our desktops, lift our heads, and look to the horizon. The future isn’t just coded, it’s imagined.
