I've just completed my last week at lowRISC CIC having co-founded it almost seven and a half years ago. It's been an all-consuming part of my life since then, where I've learned a huge amount about everything involved in building up a company from an idea through to millions of dollars a year in annual revenue. I'm incredibly proud of what it's delivered so far (and there's more to come in the future of course!). With high profile projects like OpenTitan, lowRISC is truly breaking new ground in open source silicon - all made possible by close collaboration between contributors at partner organisations and the amazing engineering team at lowRISC, that I've been privileged to lead. For me, it's time for a fresh challenge and a new environment. Watch this space, as I'll be able to say more about what's next in a week or two.
