I fear that a the behemoths using SAP begin using DB more (of course, $ for DB, understandably), it will enable prices to increase (harder for small-mid businesses). Huge enterprise focused platforms invariably squeeze the little players.

Congrats Ali Ghodsi Databricks and the SAP teams! Its great to see this come to fruition, SAP customers will benefit immensely from this, and it will also accelerate the adoption of AI in the enterprise with seamless access to their data, totally agnostic of which AI platforms/models they will use.
Excited for this 🔥 When the platforms collaborate it makes it easier to integrate and adapt for large scope transformations and the synergies between IT teams becomes stronger as they tend to talk the same language, limits conflicts. Looking forward to see how this partnership marries with customers journey with a success story.
