Alma Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Andreas Petrou to First Vice President, Regional Manager for Queens and Long Island. Andreas brings over two decades of banking experience and has been a vital part of Alma Bank since 2014, when he joined as Branch Manager to lead the growth of the bank’s flagship Astoria location. Promoted to Regional Manager in 2016, Andreas successfully restructured the Queens region, launched de novo branches, and spearheaded initiatives that enhanced performance across the region. A proven leader and mentor, his guidance has helped numerous team members advance into leadership roles within the organization. In his expanded role, Andreas will lead Alma Bank’s growth into Long Island while continuing to oversee the Queens region. His expertise in treasury, retail, small business, and commercial banking—combined with his commitment to client service excellence—positions him for continued success. Fluent in both Greek and English, Andreas is well-equipped to strengthen the bank’s relationships across the diverse communities it proudly serves.
